The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it truly is alarmed about the large amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area each day. The provider position created for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to enable the servicing of all clients and enhance access to Social Assistance products more info and services,” the agency said.
